Miami Beach Condo - Episode 05 (Show 1505)

Installing Cork Flooring for Sound Reduction and Creating Laminated Countertops - Bob confronts remodeling challenges in his remake of a Miami Beach condo. Sound attenuation numbers must be met, so Bob looks for flooring that will deaden sound but still give the sleek, clean look of tile or stone. Cork underlayment and click-together cork tiles are installed to muffle echoes in this concrete apartment building. Counters must be laminated on site when pre-fabricated countertops won't fit in the elevator. Funky chrome-look edging completes the look on the shared dining-kitchen counter. Bob tours another of designer DD Allen's Miami condo creations, this one done in classic Miami white and pink.
